ProLam Kombi / ProLam Kombi L

The ProLam Kombi is an automatic combination cutting system that is used to cut laminated glass and float glass flexibly and accurately.

The production output levels and speed of the ProLam convincingly demonstrate its suitability for industrial mass production in a production line. As a stand-alone system, the ProLam is best suited to urgent jobs, production peaks on other machines or production using different glass types.

Performance features:

  • Infeed table with integrated breakout device for sub plates
  • Glass sheet rotating device for preparation of the following cuts

Optional performance features:

  • Double Grinding Head for soft-coated low emissivity (low-e) glass
  • Module for automatic offcut removal

Functional description:

Transportation and positioning of the glass are automatic.

Laminated glass cutting

The laminated glass is scored on both sides, broken and cleanly separated.
The cutting process can be extended optionally using the PVB trimming tool or the Double Grinding Head for low-E glass.  

Float glass cutting

Float glass is cut on the upstream infeed table.
After the float glass has been scored accurately it is conveyed to the glass sheet breaking device and broken.

The cutting process can be extended optionally using the Double Grinding Head for low-E glass.

Model variant:

ProLam Kombi L

The ProLam Kombi "L" model variant uses a second breaking mode and an extended breaking table to achieve an even higher output: The glass panel, which has been scored on the infeed table, is conveyed as a single piece to the downstream breaking table, where operators separate and remove it. The discharge ensures that the next glass panel can immediately be fed into to the cutting system and processed.
